Intro! Pew Pew.

Here it is. Another Shaman Blog.

I’ll start by introducing myself briefly. I’m a 24 year old male living in Switzerland/Europe. That’s right, Switzerland, not Sweden. My History with WoW is mid-long. In Late 2006 I got my hands on this game and have been playing since, with short breaks whenever there were tests at University. The very first character I created is actually still my Main. When I was about level 40 Burning Crusade was released and thus I got into the whole raiding game rather late. In my first Guild I learned all about discipline, being on time and yes, guild drama. Progression was fast when we entered T5 raiding but slowed down quickly, never letting us defeat nor Vashj nor Kael’thas until the Guild split up after wiping a whole month on Archimonde. After some weeks of struggling if continuing was worth it after all I found a new home at Faculty. Luckily I got to kill Illidan before big bad 3.0.2 nerf for a personal little victory, but all in all BC raiding still feels a bit disappointing for me after having spent too much time in SSC and TK with nearly no progression.

Er…..so what now? Another Shaman Blog?

To be Honest: I have no idea. My English skills are far from perfect, I have never played in a real end game progression guild (frickin’ Archimonde wouldn’t even give me my T6 helmet), I’m rather lazy and setting up wordpress at a webhost was a painful experience. On the other hand I like collecting information from various site an reading the theorycraft that all those brilliant guys do. And I love my Shaman. Oh…and I like to write.

And now what’s the plan?

The plan as it is right now is to write a Resto Shaman centered blog focusing on PVE-Tips on play style, talent builds, gear choices, playing with other healers and so on. I’ll hope to include other topics such as Addons and of course my favorite off-spec enhancement as well, maybe even some guild-related discussions and just other little bits out of the daily life in wow. After all I’m just starting out, so forgive me if I wander from the subject too much. But I’ll try to build up a little knowledge base apart from the chronical blogging I’m really looking forward to.

Ok….and that’s all?

Well not yet. As I heal my way through instances of various sizes there’s most of the time my lovely girlfriend by my side. While i only spec Enhancement for some melee fun once in a while she’s the backstabbing powerhouse always close up behind those mobs. I hope she’ll join me here from time to time and share her views on her pet collection the raiding game as a rogue with us. Please do bug her in the comments to start writing soon¨.
