Best of luck in finding a new guild. Had much the same thing happen with me in a previous guild. Didn't like the direction it was going in that they were recruiting people just to get into end game back in vanilla wow. I was an officer then and every time I would make a comment on it I would be over run with the other officers. I then stepped down as officer since my feedback wasn't wanted any longer and they were making too many demands on me as an officer. In the end I didn't know the guild anymore and so /gquit. Positive note I ended up starting the guild I have now on a diff server and while there have been quite a few headaches, at least I don't have to worry about things changing as long as my wife and I stay in charge.
